Spouted Jug A.K/20

Cyprus

19th century(?)

A reconstructed spouted jug with moulded and etched decoration. The object is most likely not of ancient origin but rather a ceramic made during a British Colonial period in the village of Fini in Cyprus and later thrown in to fill up an already looted tomb in Agioi Omologites. Regardless, the jug was in the past considered to be an antiquity and was marked with "Α.Κ/20" on its bottom.
