A view overlooking the Kanagawa port (modern-day Yokohama), lined with ochaya (tea houses) where patrons would be entertained by geisha. This print is part of the series The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō, a visual document of the artist's first journey along the Tōkaidō (Eastern Sea Road of Japan).
