Hoi An Hoard Blue and White Bowl

A Vietnamese Blue and White Bowl recovered from the Hoi An Hoard shipwreck. The bowl is decorated on its base with a petal pattern while its rim has a geometric band. The inside of the bowl has a second band on the inside lip and a central flower on the interior. The cobalt glaze on the piece popped during the firing process.
The bottom of the piece has a brown glaze with a 'HOI AN HOARD' label and a second barcode label on the side identifying the bowl as coming from lot number 52820.
