A vertical diptych depicting Ôboshi Yuranosuke Yoshio (leader of the 47 Ronin) seated on a stool. The work is part of an untitled vertical diptych series of the 47 Ronin by Utagawa Kuniyoshi. Although the series is based on the story of the 47 Ronin, the full series only consists of three diptychs and thus only include 3 of the 47 Ronin.
