Hoi An Hoard Blue and White Porcelain Ovoid Jar

ca. 1450-1500

A Vietnamese blue and white ovoid jar recovered from the Hoi An Hoard shipwreck. The jar's lip is decorated with lotus petals while the body with lines and a band with vines, followed by three drawings of an unidentified plant.


The bottom of the piece has a black glaze with a 'HOI AN HOARD' label identifying the bowl as coming from lot number 92797.
